Start now collecting scrapbooking papers, embellishments and, of course, PICTURES! Or, make some cute cards! Paper, scissors and some embellishments will be provided. Got supplies you're willing to share? Bring them along for all to enjoy!

Whether you're a pro or a complete novice, it will be a FUN night of girly creativity and relaxation! Also plan to bring your favorite snack, dessert or drink to share.
This is a great event to bring a friend to!

"Infinite Grace" conference!! Mark your calendars now for Friday, November 21 and Saturday, November 22.
Compass Women's Ministry will be selling tickets and providing tee shirts and a "tail gate lunch" on Saturday! We're hoping to get at least 25 women together to go. It'll be awesome!! Look for more details soon.

EVERYone wins

I'm all about instant gratification, at least when it comes to my creative projects. While I love the end result of scrap booking, I lack the patience. I love to make cards, though! They're fast and fun and there's the added benefit of being able to give them away!
So I've been on a card-making binge. I think I churned out 30 or more over the weekend! In preparation for our scrapbooking moms' night out, I ordered some fun papers from my favorite ar-teests AND entered to win THIS from my blog friend over at Lily Eden. I thought, "Oo, that would be perfect for scrapbooking, too."

I was one of 33 commenters hoping to win and her daughter, who picks the name every week, DREW MY NAME!!


I kinda "knew" I'd win when I left my comment. I believe this is simply another reminder that God loves me and cares about the details of my life.

Pool Party report

Thank you to everyone who attended our Patriotic Pool Party on Friday! It was fun to see so much red, white and blue, and to see new faces along with old friends!
We had 7 grown-ups and 8 kiddos and had a fabulous time chatting, swimming and, of course, eating! Thanks especially to my boss and dear friend for hosting and supplying the food and drinks--may God return the blessing to you ten-fold!

Our usual host is out of town so I've agreed to host! Come on over to my place! 10:00am to 12:00pm this Friday, June 13.

Please RSVP so I can have plenty of snacks and drinks for the kids.
Iced coffee drinks for the moms, too!
Bring a bathing suit for the little ones if you want to take a dip in the kiddy pool out back. There's sidewalk chalk and a sand box outside, too. Otherwise, we'll plan to play and hang out in the a/c!
